IT Placements

Our IT department known as Business Systems looks for ambitious Computer Science undergraduates with a passion for technology and a keen eye for detail.

We are currently in the middle of a large scale project called Apollo that will be delivered over the next four years replacing old systems with new technologies. The key objectives of the project are:-

  • To build a sustainable and resilient IT infrastructure
  • Reliable systems with performance that meets customer expectations
  • Introduce applications which support the business
  • Flexible systems which allow us to respond to business change more easily
  • Retire legacy systems
  • Migrate from old to new with lowest possible risk
  • Keep new systems up-to-date
  • Regular upgrades to ensure we have the most up to date technology available

Pay and benefits

In addition, some of the benefits you will receive include:

  • £19,000 per annum
  • Flexible benefits package

Your journey with us

As well as a structured training programme and on-the-job learning, our placement opportunity offers you 12 months experience to be hands on, working on day to day business responsibilities, with support from other colleagues. Below are a few of the things that you can expect to be part of.
